Protecting and guiding against COVID
Christmas is, no doubt, a season of extreme happiness with a lot of pleasant happening around the world. Places are carefully designed and decorated with flowers to attract both children and adults. Essentially this is to have fun and enjoy the bliss of the season. One of the best ways to enjoy the season is to go out with family and friends to visit places prepared for this purpose. Things are put in place and beautifully arranged for people to enjoy their moment in a free atmosphere where children are given enough chance and freedom to enjoy themselves. Therefore, season shopping for the family is important. Notwithstanding, an adequate COVID protocol is established and managed, with a view to protecting and guiding against infections. So shopping during Christmas (with a major emphasis on COVID) requires full observation of COVID protocol
Traffic in the same direction
During this season people interestingly come out for various reasons. But what is paramount is that a large number of people are possibly coming out to shop in preparation for Christmas. This entails people visiting different shopping malls, Groceries store and a host of other locations for the same purpose. It all depends on individual Interests. By this, markets and other related locations would start attracting traffic from various directions all in the interest of buying and selling. Usually, it happens almost at the same time and location. With the movement of people towards the same direction the likelihood of having such places being overstretched with people is certain. Preferably, one should consider the right time to go out shopping.
Avoid crowd
A consequence of having too many people in the same place is the high chance of people infecting one another. For this reason, what is proper or advisable is to be conscious of covid and avoid rowdy places, particularly this time around. Nevertheless, much carefulness is required in order to avoid unprotected closeness and body contact.
Observation of covid 19 protocol
Basically, shopping during Christmas(emphasis on covid 19) goes with caution. Therefore in this season, people are profoundly advised as follows:
Be selective in the choice of places you intend to do your shopping. Visit reputable groceries store where genuine and original consumer items are sold;
Do your shopping in a market or store that observes adequate covid 19 protocol. In this case, the management of the store should have sanitiser dispensers strategically located in and around the store. Customers should have access to all appliances provided for this purpose;
Restrict your movement, such that you only go out when and where necessary;
Ensure you have all the necessary items for protection against COVID; items like a face mask, alcohol-based sanitiser and hand gloves.
Always sanitise your hands when you notice that you have touched any unsanitised item or place.
Ensure a reasonable distance from anyone without a mask
