In efforts to create, a rewarding employment for Nigerian youths. At least to keep every one busy within the category in question. The federal government has initiated various programs. Each of the programs is designed and packaged to engage youths meaningfully. Of course, youths that are willing and ready to take advantage of these purposeful programs. The Key intention of the present administration is to train and provide opportunities. for Nigerian Youth through the initiative of DEEL
This program is meant for the youth to key into and make the best out of it. Training is the bed rock of knowledge, no doubt. Having received appropriate training, the next line of action is to enlarge our horizon through practicing. Engage ourselves and, start Earning a living. And shortly we become employers of Labour.
DEEL is an initiative of federal ministry of youth and sports Development. It is an acronym for Digital, Entrepreneurship, Employability and Leadership.

Each of the components contains different Packages. Programs for different skill acquisitions. It all depends on your choice and interest. Everything that is required for your adequate training is available.

D Digital Literacy And Digital Skill Acquisition
The Digital Youth Nigeria ( DY.NG ) initiative is a digital literacy Program which seeks to equip a million youth across Nigeria with digital skill in 5 critical areas. This is to ensure that they are fully employable, competitive and are able to self-start or be self-employed.
These digital skill will be applicable for use not only in the IT industry, but also in Agriculture, Health, education, sports, science and Technology and Environment.
The Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports further intend to turn 24 of its Youth centers across Nigeria into Digital Youth Training Centers with an efficient training module.
Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Training
Robotics and artificial intelligence – The ministry of youth and sports development seeks to support the development of artificial Intelligence ( AI ) and Robotic in Nigeria. This is in a bid to ensuring the creation of indigenous solution to local challenges using advance technology.To do this, the ministry is set to sponsor 2000 young Nigerians in AI and robotic Training, working closely with BredHub, a Robotic and AI training center.
Mobile Device Repairs Training
The mobile device repairs training was introduced by the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports. Essentially to train Nigerian Youth in mobile device and IT Hardware. Repairs which includes; Smartphones, Laptops, Radio, video, camera etc. The training is set to reach over 100,000 Nigerians Youth who would also receive Tool Boxes and relevant manual for free. Certificates as well as some level of Funding will be provided at completion of the training. This is to ensure that the Youth are able to build sustainable wealth for themselves
60 Days App Challenge
The 60 Day App Challenge is aimed at engaging young Nigerians in designing mobile applications to improve a range of processing.The challenge required youth to design and submit an app that solves problem. The top Ten winners receive =N=1,0000,000= each, Laptops, Business Development Training and Certificate of participation. This is to ensure that the youth are equipped with basic and advance technological development skill. This will make them to distinguish themselves.
Coding for Nigerian Youth
The demand for software is continuously growing, hence the ministry saw the need to organize a coding training program for Nigeria’s Youth. The best coders have been known to have various skills and ability like problems solving logic, creativity, aesthetic judgement and design skills.
These are traits easily found among the youth. And which further emphasize the need for Nigerian youth to take over the coding space. The training is designed for 70 young Nigerians from each of the six geopolitical zones.The training arrangement will leverage on the existing Tech infrastructure in states within the zones. Participants in the training will also receive Laptop and software post training.
Data collection Training
With the relevance of data becoming increasingly emphasized. The Ministry considered the need to put together a Data collection training to provide participants with adequate knowledge of the techniques of data collection. Ranging from interviews, surveys, observations, focus group to the big data collection and warehousing.
To this end, Nigerian Youth are encouraged to get connected, to various available programs.
